About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog! I started this blog as a way to recap my race experiences and to talk about running in general. I started running in 2007 and have not looked back since. I'm a RRCA-Certified Running Coach and proud coach for DC Road Runners. I would classify myself as an endurance runner, but enjoy throwing a 5K or 10K into the mix every now and again. I primarily train and race on the road, but I enjoy hitting the trails too!

I was born in New York, raised in Southern Indiana and now live in the Washington, DC metro area. I work for the FAA and I'm the chapter coordinator the Medals4Mettle Washington, DC Chapter. Outside of running, I love to travel and spend time with my family and friends. I'm a FAA-Certified Commercial Pilot and love all things aviation. I'm a diehard Formula 1 fan and supporter of the Ferrari F1 team! I also enjoy playing golf from time to time, even though I'm pretty awful!

Enjoy my blog! Happy running!
